The space
What is the difference between Ivy and Rose and The White House Co? Aren’t they owned by the same people?
Though Ivy and Rose and The White House Co. are owned by the same family, they are different companies. Ivy and rose is an event space for people to gather and celebrate. The White House Co. is a vintage rental company that can be employed to assist with wedding day and event decor like any other wedding vendor.
Is there a discount to work with White House Co?
Yes! as sister companies, there are some perks to renting items from White House Co. for your event.
Event questions
How many people can we have at our event?
Ivy and Rose’s capacity is 200 people for any event.
Can I see the event space before i book it?
Of course! We are by appointment only but booking is easy! Simply use the inquire tab above to book a date for you to tour the space.
How much is it to book the Ivy and Rose warehouse?
This is a good question! For a photography session, the warehouse can be rented for $100 an hour. For events and packages, please see the Packages and Pricing tab above.
Do you require we work with specific vendors?
No, you are able to choose whatever photographer, food vendors and rental companies that you like, however there are some limitations. No liquor can be provided by these vendors (we have our own beer and wine license) and all vendors must follow the safety protocol for the building.
Photography questions
I’m not looking to book the space for an event, just for a photoshoot. Can I do that?
We encourage it! The warehouse has plenty of space and windows, making it an ideal indoor location for a wide range of photography shoots. whether you just need to get out of the cold or want to work with fun props in a more controlled setting, we’ve got you covered.
I wont need a full hour, can I book for less time?
We only book by the hour for a flat $100 dollar fee. please keep in mind that this will include any time past your paid rental as well. We always recommend you book more time than you think you will need to ensure you have your props , hair, makeup and styling the way you prefer. this will also allow you to have ample time to remove your items before the next renter.
Can I bring my own props?
Yes, absolutely. The warehouse has ample space for any prop you would like to bring and a large garage door to get it inside the building. simply give us a heads up of what you would like to bring, and we’ll make sure we’re able to accommodate you.
Can I set up early?
At this time, we are not offering early set up for photography shoots. Please keep this in mind for when you would like to photograph your clients here.
What space is included in my rental?
This is a great question! When renting for a shoot, you have access to the outside of the building as well as the main inner area, including the bathrooms and use of the large garage door. The side room that is through the sliding door however, is under construction and is for staff only. Please do not bring clients back there or remove any items from beyond those doors to use.
Can I use items in the large rental space?
Sometimes we will have sets already created for you in the main rental area. This could be do to us having another event later in the day or may be part of a popup photoshoot that we are hosting. If the items have been placed there by us for a photoshoot (like Christmas or Valentines Day), then you are welcome to use them, provided all items are returned to where you found them. if the items are there for a wedding that is happening that evening or weekend or are beyond the sliding door, they are to be left where they are and cannot be used during your rented time
